@64: As far as angels and devils are concerned, they’re present in all “Religions of the Book”, ie religions which believe in one God, Adam, Abraham, etc (Judaism, Christianism, Islam, maybe Sikhism, not sure since it’s half islam, half hinduism). There are demons in pretty much all other mythologies, but there’s nothing as clear-cut as angels and devils. By the way, since we’re still in February, Cupid isn’t an angel, it’s a Roman god. Funny fact: in old jewish beliefs, it was possible to contract devils with white magic, which wasn’t anything evil – just check about Solomon and the Lesser Key of Solomon, which includes all demons he is supposed to have contracted and remains the main source of demonic names in animes and video games :)
@55… Angels and demons also exists in other faith; it is not Christian exclusive.

I can see where you guys are coming from, it ends up feeling like a copout with the bad guys dealing all that punishment only for the hero to turn it around and finish the fight in one hit… kind sell’s the fight short and feels unsatisfying doesn’t it? not to mention it being cliche.
